Over the last few months there have been significant changes made to the ground some 20 brand new Promatic traps have been installed & existing traps overhauled, the operating system of all our layouts have been upgraded to allow full use by means of a 'Claymate' card system, simply purhase 'x' amount of targets when you arrive these are entered on a card which you are provided with during your visit then out to shoot whichever layout you prefer or move from one to another. Once all targets have been used up you may purchase more adding them to your card should you wish. Our layouts include Olympic Trap or 15 trap as it is called, this can be easily changed to 5 trap or Automatic Ball Trap. This layout is operated by acoustic release. There is a DTL layout again operated by acoustic release. Both the 15 trap & DTL layouts can be operated by the single shooter. There are 2 Skeet Layouts which can accomodate the single shooter by means of a solo delay button. We also have a grouse butt providing driven targets from an A.B.T. trap once again with the solo shooter in mind it can be operated by means of a delay release facility. Finally there is now a compact sporting layout which again can be operated by the solo shooter. This layout has the ability to offer a combination of 12 traps thereby allowing change of targets on a regular basis to keep the sporting shooter on his/her toes. Normally we operate this layout with 5 traps shot over 3 stands thereby making effectively 15 different targets that can be released as singles, report pairs or simultaneous pairs by the shooter himself or his collegue.
